AIA Lunch & Learn – Advanced Mineral Composite Siding: For a More Resilient and Sustainable Future
About this course:
This one-hour in-person course explores the strengths and weaknesses of common siding materials used today in single-family, multi-family, and light commercial construction, including wood, vinyl, engineered wood, and fiber cement; and contrasts these materials with a next generation advanced composite siding materials. The architect will understand how new advanced composite siding was developed and how it’s manufactured. The course examines each siding material from a health and wellness, sustainability, resilient design, and cost perspective.
