Join us for an AIA CEU presentation on Wednesday, Oct. 6th at 12 Noon. This course is entitled “Right Product for the Right Environment, Window & Door Types, Functions and Applications”. Presented by Adam Lampo of Kolbe Windows & Doors.
This presentation will be held here in our lumberyard classroom at 12noon until 1pm. Box lunches will be provided.
This course will provide information on different types and functions of windows & doors and how their performance characteristics can be considered for their best use in a particular application. It will also cover design paradigms within the design/build industry of larger units, more glass and extending the indoors to the outdoors.
- Identify various window and door types, functions and characteristics
- Determine the best window or door for a particular project and its performance requirements
- Recognize how windows and doors can be solutions to extending the indoors to the outdoors and how critical this design is within the building industry
- Understand the growing need in the market for producing products that generate larger viewing areas to the outdoors
